5:41 AM on a Sunday morning

It's 5:41AM right now as I write this. I am listening to the soundtrack of 'Angels and Demons,' and I hear the soft clicking of the keys of my keyboard. Other than that, all seems to be quiet in the apartment, which is an oddity. I suppose it is an oddity because living with four other college guys under one roof, one rarely finds real, authentic 'quiet time.' It's hard to come by these days.

As I sit here, I can't help but think of the beauty of the day being born outside my window. Even though it is still dark outside, and even though there is no noticeable movement out there, I know that a new day is about to break forth with bright rays of sunshine any moment.

Just as that new day is about to break forth, so is my life. I truly feel as if this year is going to bring amazing things. For starters, I will be welcomed fully into the Roman Catholic Church this coming Easter. It's been a long journey. I am so happy to be in this moment, on the edge of this great event in my life. I am also looking forward to spending more time at Pontifical College Josephinum this year, discerning my call and vocation. Perhaps it is to the Priesthood, perhaps it is not. No matter, I know that great things will come of the time I spend at PCJ this year. Also, I have recently started getting involved with two groups: The Newman Club of Kenyon College, and an order of Secular Franciscans in Lexington, Ohio. God is doing great things this school year, and I can sense that great and wonderful change is just on the horizon.

Until next time...

Peace Be With You.
